In the days before closing, Outpost 72 owner Natalie Tease spends a good bit of her time hugging patrons and telling them goodbye.
"It's bittersweet, you know," she said of the restaurant she and her husband, Mike, have owned for three years on U.S. 72. It's been part of the Lauderdale County landscape, however, for more than 20 years, having passed through various owners' hands while maintaining many of the same recipes. When it closes Sunday, it will mean one less family restaurant in the area.
