  • "Federal employees should set an example for others. They are already receiving a salary that is above the average taxpayer. They should pay their share of taxes and not be late. Any federal employee that owes back taxes should be fired immediately."

  • "I read some numbers which prove why we need to do away with college football. In the average Southeast conference college, the academic spending per student is about $13,000 a year. The athletic spending per athlete is about $164,000 per year. Of course, spending on athletes is basically a waste of money in the first place. This is why these schools don't do as well academically as they should."

  • "The news is ... the authoritarians are on the move. They're trying to strip us of all our liberties. Wake up, Americans, now."

  • "These folks who are so upset about the deficit, what planet did they inhabit in the eight years of Bush's disastrous presidency? Two unfunded and unnecessary wars turned a surplus into a huge deficit. Not only that, but 100,000 innocent Iraqis lost their lives due to W. Where is the outrage and remorse over this? Also seems strange that these same folks will still pay good money to be in the same room with W. for an evening. He should be on trial for war crimes."

  • "The Republicans are doing a great job in Montgomery, especially dealing with the AEA."

  • "I'm 70 years old. I have never seen an administration, a presidency as full of deceit and lying and cover-ups as he is in his administration — his people that's loyal to him. Hillary Clinton, you can just go down the list, Eric Holder, many, many more. They wouldn't know the truth. They couldn't tell the truth, even if they wanted to."

  • "I'm calling about all these people out there that goes to the doctor and gets these dang-gum pain pills and then go out and sell them ... and then the people that really need to go to the doctor and need medication, they can't get it because the doctor won't write them. Now, something ain't right about that."
