Bentley explains, defends Franklin County bill veto

MONTGOMERY - Gov. Robert Bentley recently defended his decision to veto a Franklin County school safety bill.

Bentley told The TimesDaily that he was concerned that Rep. Johnny Mack Morrow’s bill to allow teachers and community members to train as reserve officers and carry firearms in schools was a liability for the state.
