MOULTON — A Jefferson County man who said a severe sinus problem was the reason for buying dozens of boxes of pseudoephedrine is in jail after authorities found methamphetamine labs where he was staying, officials said.

James Edward Jones Jr., 42, of 1825 Harrison Drive, Gardendale, is charged with first-degree manufacturing a controlled substance, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and chemical endangerment of a child, Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell said.
