Edison was more of a businessman than a magician and “Oz The Great and Powerful” reeks of the mechanics of business.

Sam Raimi’s “Oz” tries to recreate the magic of Victor Fleming’s “The Wizard of Oz” even going so far as to start in black and white and move to rich, colored CGI as Franco ventures into Oz.
