To the editor:

I agree with the letter Doris Woods and Sherry Holcombe wrote about the Trail of Tears Motorcycle Ride.

I thought the Native Americans spent the winter in Waterloo, and died there. Now, T-shirt sales change history.

Money is the real issue. I have ridden from Chattanooga to Waterloo, and I can tell you that Waterloo Road is no more dangerous than the two-lane road from Chattanooga to South Pittsburg.

If the committee is worried about scholarship money, why don't they give scholarships only to Native Americans, not people 1/10 Native American?

Let's show them we have respect for the Native-Americans.

Boycott McFarland Park.
