You make the choice!
The main reason the "Trail of Tears Memorial Ride" was created was to honor the bitter journey the Native Americans were forced to endure the fall/winter of 1838.
I feel so ashamed that our city leaders and their representatives want to change history by stopping in Florence.
We owe it our Native American brothers and sisters who were forced to walk this bloody journey to ride those last 23 miles, stand in front of the memorial statue and thank God that we have a choice.
