Some park ideas

To the editor:

First of all, I think Veterans Park is OK just as it is, but I would like to suggest some things that the public or even tourists would enjoy.

A portable roller rink, a miniature golf course and a carrousel: these three would charge-admission.

Also, have an outdoor theater for schools, UNA and the public to use.

These are just some ideas, and I'm sure if the city would put a committee together there would be more.

By the way, the carrousel at the Riverchase Galleria mall in Birmingham takes in approximately a million dollars annually.
