The Hackers

To the editor:
I've been watching the "Nashville Star" program with great interest and am amazed by the talent of the two Alabama entrants, Zac and Angela Hacker.
They are both great, and I don't think it's because I now call Alabama home that I want one of them to win, but because they are both extremely talented.
Angela Hacker is my favorite because she sings with such feeling, and I have voted for her each time. I don't know what Angela's life has been like, but there is a soulful sadness about her voice that makes it easy to assume that has experienced a great deal in her life and that she's known her share of sadness.
I'm sure good things are in store for each of them, regardless of the outcome of the "Nashville Star" program.
