  • Patrick James Venturi, 25, 9390 May Branch Loop, Florence, second-degree possession of a forged instrument and third-degree theft of property.

  • Michael Dewayne Smith, 24, 397 Lauderdale 116, Florence; grand jury indictment for first-degree theft of property.

    Florence police

  • Theft: A television, computer and athletic shoes were taken from a residence in the 2200 block of Hough Road.

  • Theft: 25 pounds of copper tubing was taken from a business in the 200 block of Commerce Street.

  • Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle: A radio-CD player, two television monitors, two 15-inch speakers, a 15-inch speaker box, four nine-inch speakers in a box, and a 1,200-watt amplifier were taken from a vehicle parked at a business in the 700 block of West Mobile Street.

  • Theft: A cell phone was taken from a residence in the 2100 block of Hixon Avenue.

  • Criminal mischief: An air conditioner was damaged at a residence in the 100 block of South Weakley Street.

  • Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle: Four rolls of copper wire were taken from a car parked in the parking lot in the 1600 block of Florence Boulevard.

  • Burglary: 30 DVDs and $750 was taken from a residence in the 1500 block of Helton Drive.

  • Theft: Plywood was taken from a construction site in the 200 block of Plantation Springs Drive.

  • Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle: A purse, debit card, $900 in cash, driver's license, Social Security card, makeup bag and medicine were taken from a car parked in the 4400 block of Chisholm Road.

  • Criminal mischief: A mattress was damaged at a business on South Court Street.

  • Theft: Two pairs of athletic shoes were taken from a business in the 2800 block of Mall Road.

  • Theft: A bicycle was taken from a residence in the 100 block of Harvest Drive.

  • Theft: A license plate was reported taken from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Augusta Street.

  • Burglary: A DVD player, safe, $100 in cash and $500 in jewelry were taken from a residence in the 400 block of North Locust Street.

  • Criminal mischief: Interior floors, walls and a front door were damaged at a residence in the 500 block of South Blair Street.

  • Burglary: A game system, two battery charger ports with battery packs and nine computer games were taken from a residence in the 1200 block of Park Street.

  • Theft: A gallon gas can and two-gallon gas can full of gas were taken from a residence in the 900 block of West Irvine Avenue.

  • Theft: A weed trimmer was taken from a residence in the 200 block of South Weakley Street.

  • Theft: A wallet, containing a debit card, credit cards, Social Security card and $30 in cash, was taken from a business in the 1800 block of Darby Drive.

  • Criminal mischief: Two utility trailers at a business on U.S. 72, Rogersville, were damaged.

  • Theft: More than 100 prescription narcotic pills were taken from a residence in the 2300 block of Lauderdale 112, Florence.

  • Theft: Three checks and 50 prescription pills were taken from a residence in the 100 block of Davis Lane, Florence.

  • Theft: A wallet, Social Security card, driver's license and insurance card were taken from a residence in the 200 block of Underwood Drive, Florence.

  • Theft: A pair of blue rings, a diamond cluster necklace, a 2002 class ring, a pink ring, a blue necklace with diamonds, a check and $100 in cash were taken from a residence in the 200 block of Belview Drive, Killen.

  • Theft: A 1998 green Oldsmobile was taken from a residence in the 300 block of Lauderdale 585, Rogersville.

  • Theft: A 1996 Nissan Maxima was taken from a residence in the 800 block of Lauderdale 281,-Florence.

  • Recovered stolen property: A white Ford Explorer reported stolen from a Lauderdale County residence was recovered on Lauderdale 269, Florence.

  • Criminal mischief: A car parked in the 3700 block of Lauderdale 11, Florence, was damaged.

  • Theft: Two rifles, headboard, television and shotgun were taken from a residence in the 2200 block of Lauderdale 103, Killen. Also, an electric stove, refrigerator, sofa and chair, computer, television and clothing were damaged at the residence.

  • Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle: A cell phone and $40 in cash and change were taken from a vehicle parked in the 4100 block of Lauderdale 7, Florence.

  • Criminal mischief: A yard at a residence in the 7800 block of Lauderdale 50, Rogersville was vandalized.

  • Theft: A wallet, two driver's license, Social Security card, $70 in cash and three credit cards were taken from a business on Alabama 157, Florence.

  • Theft: A cell phone and video game were taken from a residence in the 9500 block of Alabama 17,-Florence.

  • Theft: A license plate was taken from a 1991 Ford Taurus parked at a residence on Lauderdale 81,-Waterloo.

  • Theft: Brass fittings, wrench sets, side grinder, a Dremel set, thermostats, faucet sets, concrete tools, drill sets, cooper cable, computer cable, spools of copper wire, extension cords, a lawn mower and change from a cash drawer were taken from a business the 6600 block of Lauderdale 200, Florence.

  • Theft: A case of Gatorade, a five-gallon gas can and five gallons of gas were taken from Cloverdale Junior High School on Alabama 157.

  • Criminal mischief: A door of a residence on Alabama 157, Florence, was damaged.

  • Theft: Copper wire was taken from a residence in the 4400 block of Lauderdale 76, Rogersville.

  • Theft: A 2,000-pound cow was taken from a residence in the 8700 block of Lauderdale 51, Lexington.

  • Theft: Two waverunners, valued at more than $5,000, were taken from a residence on Lauderdale 496,- Lexington.

  • Criminal mischief: A cooking grill and a window frame were damaged at a residence in the 100 block of Haddock Lane, Florence.

  • Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: A 1995 white Pontiac Grand Prix was taken from a residence in the 3200 block of Lauderdale 158,-Florence.

  • Theft: A diamond ring with five stones was taken from a residence in the 200 block of Onslow Circle, Killen.

  • Theft: A cell phone was taken from a business on Alabama 101, Elgin.

  • Theft: Copper was taken from a burned vehicle on Lauderdale 2,-Florence.

  • Vandalism: An above-ground swimming pool and 2002 Oldsmobile Alero were damaged while parked at a residence in the 1200 block of Lauderdale 22, Florence.

  • Burglary: More than $30 in change was taken from a jar at a residence in the 100 block of Lauderdale 133, Waterloo.

  • Criminal mischief: A DVD player, VCR, two blacklights, a game system, kitchen cabinets, lamp and coffee table were damaged at a residence in the 1000 block of Lauderdale 116, Florence.

  • Theft: An insulation blower and 200 feet of blowing hose were taken from a residence in the 800 block of Lauderdale 224, Florence.

  • Theft: A three-ton air conditioning unit and a window unit were taken from a residence in the 100 block of Lauderdale 290, Florence.

  • Criminal mischief/littering: Trash and written notes containing foul language were thrown over a lawn in the 4100 block of Lauderdale 11, Florence.
