Funeral services for Willis Donald Scott, age 63, Iron City, Tenn., will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at Shackelford Chapel in Collinwood, with Clifton Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, from 6-9 p.m., and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tenn.
Mr. Scott, a native of Lauderdale County, Ala., died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. He was a son of the late Sterling Eugene and Lesia Steen Scott. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ramon, Junior, Bobby and O'Neal Scott, sisters, Thringie Dison and Lavenia Scott. He was retired from Ford Motor Co. as a die caster, and member of United Auto Workers and Salem Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Doris Creasy Scott, of Iron City, Tenn.; daughters, Lolita Kelly and husband, Clay, of Sheffield, and Tina Robbins and husband, Harold, of Collinwood, Tenn.; son, Shane Scott and wife, Christy, of Collinwood, Tenn.; grandchildren, Anna Clemons, Randy Patterson, Andrew Robbins, Zane Kelly, Rylee Scott and Dayton Scott; great-grandchildren, Jarhett Clemons, Sawyer Clemons and Chloe Mae Gooch; brother, Christopher J.T. Scott, of St. Florian, Ala.; and sisters, Billie Thomas, Pearline Gray, Nellie Clemmons and Miliney Cox, all of Florence, Ala., Thedous Cox, of Center Star, Ala.
