A Bluegrass Benefit Show, presented by the Underwood-Petersville Kiwanis Club, will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Underwood-Petersville Community Center, 840 Lauderdale 7, Florence. Lecture Series, will screen “The 11th Hour” at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the GUC Performance Center, Florence. The screening is part of Habitat’s Act! Speak! Build Week, which runs Monday through Friday, April 4. The film explores how people live and impact the earth’s ecosystems and what can be done in “the 11th hour,” said to be the last moment that change still is possible. The Lauderdale County High School Drama club will present its spring production of “Zink: The Myth, the Legend, the Zebra,” by Cherie Bennett at 7 p.m. today and Friday in the school’s AV room. Directed by Sarah Cox, this imaginative, funny and heartbreaking play teaches a powerful lesson about true courage. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased in advance or at the door.
