Muscle Shoals police said Kevin Randall Taylor, 31, 101 Hollywood Drive, Tuscumbia, and his, 29-year-old wife, Amanda Michelle Taylor, have been charged with second-degree robbery and first-degree theft of property.

Authorities said the arrests were made in connection with an incident that reportedly took place April 27 in the parking area at her residence on Sheffield Avenue in Muscle Shoals.

Investigators said the couple is accused of following the victim from a parking lot on Woodward Avenue to her residence on Sheffield Street and then almost knocking her to the ground as they stole her purse.

The victim gave police a description of the vehicle and she later identified them as the ones who robbed her, police said.
