Authorities say a Phil Campbell man has been arrested after he was accused of stabbing his wife and daughter-in-law.
Franklin County officials said Horace Wayne Borden, 62, 2682 Franklin 75, Phil Campbell, has been charged with two counts of domestic violence second-degree assault.
The charges are Class B felonies, which are punishable by two to 20 years in prison if convicted.
Reports indicate Borden got into some type of altercation with his wife and daughter-in-law Thursday afternoon. He is accused of stabbing his daughter-in-law and cutting his wife with a knife.
The two women were taken to Russellville Hospital where they were treated and released.
Investigators said the two victims lived with Borden.
Authorities said Borden was caught on Spring Valley Road in Colbert County where he wrecked a vehicle when he ran into a building.
Colbert sheriff's deputies arrested him at the scene for driving under the influence. He was transferred to Franklin County on Friday where he is being held without bond.
