Cecil Hall Pool, 90, of Town Creek, Ala., died June 22, 2008, at ECM Hospital in Florence, Ala. He was born June 7, 1918. He served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by brother, Carl Pool, Muscle Shoals; sister, Newana Barnes, Wolf Springs; five nephews; and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by father, Gabe Pool; mother, Laura Hall Pool; brother, Kermit Pool; and sister, Martha Carolyn Pool.
Pallbearers include Mike Moore, Don Barnes, Chris Pool, Barry Pool, Gerald Pool, Barry L. Pool, Brad Pool and Mike Pool.
He was a member of Wolf Springs Church of Christ.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton, Ala.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at the funeral home chapel, with Brother Wayne Gean and Hillard Ayers officiating. Interment will be in King Cemetery.
