Man charged in shooting

A Lawrence County man has been charged in connection with a recent shooting that took place outside a nightclub.

Police Chief Greg Ray said 18-year-old Jermone Green, of Town Creek, has been charged with second-degree assault in connection with an incident that occurred July 25 in the parking lot of Quad Cities Knock, a night club on South Montgomery Avenue.

Ray said the incident left four people with minor injuries.
