FLORENCE
Authorities searching for burglary suspects
Florence police are trying to locate the people involved in the burglary of a local business.
Detectives said someone entered Fred's Discount Pharmacy on U.S. 72 near Kendale Gardens just before midnight Monday.
"They forced their way in through a side door," said Florence detective Jerry Pearson. "Once inside, they got several bottles of prescription narcotics and pain pills."
Pearson said the burglars took medication that was still in the large white commercial bottles with the exact name of the drugs printed on the bottles.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 768-2728 or CrimeStoppers at 386-8685.
