Florence police

• Theft: A purse and contents were taken from a residence in the 200 block of West College Street.

• Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle: A tool set, leatherman’s tool, cordless drill motor, flashlight charger, flashlight and more than 20 CDs were taken from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Bradshaw Drive.

• Burglary: A radio was taken from a car in the 200 block of Norwood Boulevard.

  Theft: A lawn mower was taken from a residence in the 100 block of North Franklin Street.

• Theft: A man’s black leather wallet and contents were taken from a residence in the 500 block of East Rasch Road.

• Theft: A wallet, driver’s license, Social Security card, checkbook, four credit cards and $200 in cash were taken from a business in the 600 block of Cox Creek Parkway.

• Theft: Two white and black pit bull puppies were taken from a residence in the 300 block of Susan Street.

• Theft: A vehicle tag was taken from a car in the 200 block of Edgewood Drive.

• Theft: More than $4,000 in unauthorized cashed checks, a nut driver set and 1,500 feet of copper wire were taken from a business in the 600 block of South Cherry Street.

• Theft: A digital camera, DVR and video camera were taken from a residence in the 2400 block of Lauderdale 15, Florence.

• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: A 1994 black Chrylser New Yorker was taken from a residence in the 8100 block of U.S. 72, Killen.
