Fix America’s health care

Many families are struggling with high health care costs. Health care premiums get more expensive each year, rising six times faster than wages since 2000.

Hard-working Americans are paying more in premiums, higher deductibles and getting less and less covered benefits.

Escalating health care costs are forcing Americans to dig into their savings to pay their medical bills.

Even worse, there are more stories each day about people who are filing bankruptcy because of medical expenses, many of whom have insurance.

It’s time for Congress to fix America’s health care system. Under the proposal being considered in Congress, Americans can keep what they have if they like it, including their doctors and their plan.

Health reform will make health care more affordable for all — it will cost less and cover more. That’s a goal we should all be able to agree on.

It’s time to stop playing politics and solve the health care crisis.
