UA star Cody look-alike fools some on jury duty

BAY MINETTE, Ala. - A man bearing a strong resemblance to Alabama defensive tackle Terrence Cody spent his morning on jury duty in Bay Minette being asked for autographs and explaining he is not the star known as "Mount Cody."
A judge even approached 21-year-old Willie Holmes of Foley after rumors spread that Cody was one of several hundred people to report for jury duty Monday at the Baldwin County Courthouse.
An amused Holmes said the judge asked him if he was the massive player known as Mount Cody.
"He came up and asked if I were Mount Cody and I said 'no'," an amused Holmes said on the courthouse steps during his lunch break.
Although he is 6-foot-3 and 304 pounds, Holmes is not quite as big as Cody. Alabama's defensive star is listed on the school's roster as being 6-foot-5 and 365 pounds.
"I'm like a shrimp next to him," Holmes said.
Holmes, who was a member of Foley High School's football team and played defensive tackle, said he hopes he can meet Cody one day.
This is not the first time he has been mistaken for football star. Holmes said after the Tennessee game, when Cody blocked two field goals that helped win the game, he was praised at a local discount store for his effort and asked for autographs.
