Successful run

We know we are probably echoing the sentiment of several people who were participants in the first "Life Without Limits" half marathon and 5k run Oct. 31, but we have to take time to give thanks and credit to Julie Cochran, race director, and Alison Isbell, UCP of NW Alabama director, for such a well organized and successful event. We have traveled to several of these larger events in much larger cities outside of the Shoals area and can say without a doubt that Julie, Alison, all of their volunteers, and the many sponsors equaled or surpassed any that we have ever participated in.

Everything was so well organized and coordinated. It was impressive. We cannot wait to sign up for the second event. Congratulations to the United Cerebral Palsy Center of Northwest Alabama for giving the Shoals something to be proud of and for doing it for a great cause!
