Warren leads Rebels to 102-62 exhibition win

OXFORD, Miss. - Chris Warren scored 22 points and Mississippi easily beat Auburn-Montgomery 102-62 Friday in its only exhibition of the preseason.
Trevor Gaskins and Terrico White had 16 points apiece while Eniel Polynice added 15 and a game-high seven rebounds for the Rebels. Auburn-Montgomery held a 38-35 halftime advantage, but Ole Miss overwhelmed the Senators with a 40-9 run to open the second half.
The Rebels were 16 of 22 from the field during the surge and Warren sank four of the eight 3-pointers Ole Miss hit on the run.
Ole Miss was 11 of 26 from 3-point range and hit 50 percent (38 of 76) of its field goals. The Rebels, who open the regular season next Friday against Arkansas-Little Rock, forced 20 turnovers and outrebounded the Senators 53-37.
Charles Perona and Nathan White had 15 points each to lead Auburn-Montgomery.
