  • "This is an ad that I wish I could put in the wanted section of TimesDaily. Wanted: A United States congressman or senator to represent the working class people and not the special interests. That's the ad I wish I could purchase and put in the TimesDaily. Sorry, I don't have the money to buy the ad."
  • "I don't get Republicans in Alabama. They say the health care bill is too long, but Alabama's constitution is several times longer and they think that's just fine."
  • "I was calling about the article in Monday's paper about the students being able to use phones in school. Since when did the students start making the rules and when did the adults and the teachers and the principals lose all of their control over them? When I was in school, we had to do whatever the principal and the teachers said. We didn't have any choices."
  • "I seen where Larry Langford said jurors fell asleep in his trial. Well, I've been to court and I seen a judge sleep for a solid hour. So, it makes you wonder how big of a joke the court system really is. It's laughable."
  • "Newspapers will return to being people's favorite news medium when they make a distinction editorial page and the front page facts. Get rid of hidden agendas and stop favoring one political party over others. Give equal space to conservatives and liberals for articles and cartoons and stop propaganda from creeping in the news reports on the front page. Then again it will be America's favorite means to get detailed news."
