James Elton Duboise, 88, Fayette, Ala., died Nov. 6, 2009.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home, of Fayette. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Nelson Funeral Home chapel, with burial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Presiding clergy will be Brother Michael Duckworth and Brother Clyde Stephens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ruby Colburn Duboise; brothers, William Duboise, Robert Duboise; sisters, Lavonia Matheney, Aileen Cooper, Barta Lee Whitman.
He is survived by his spouse, Kathryn Benton Duboise, Fayette; sons, Dormon (Chalyway) Duboise, Valdosta, Ga., Delmer (Lavon) Duboise, Russellville, Teddy Duboise, Macon, Ga., Terry Duboise, Madison, Mayford Duboise, Russellville; sisters, Shirley Rambo, Adell Burnstead; brothers, Starlin Galloway, Mark Duboise, Billy Duboise, Murray Duboise; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
