Remember the farmer

This Thanksgiving when you pause to give thanks, please remember the Alabama farmer.
In 2009 — with its heavy rainfall, new government policies and overheated inflation — the farmer has endured much for us to have a bountiful table. We live in the greatest country in the world and enjoy the best food.
I thank God for the farmer.
