MUFREESBORO, Tenn. - The North Alabama men wrapped up their exhibition season Monday night with a 99-60 loss at Middle Tennessee.
The Lions trailed 52-35 at halftime and the Blue Raiders continued to pull away in the second half.
"We didn't shoot the ball well and Middle Tennessee did," coach Bobby Champagne said. "We're starting to see some things we do well, but our guys have to have confidence in each other. Right now we don't trust each other enough because we have so many new players. But I thought we did make some improvements tonight."
Junior forward Rory Miller led UNA with 17 points and eight rebounds. Jared Strode and Eric Wormely added 10 points apiece."
UNA opens its season at home Sunday against Christian Brothers, Tip-off is at 3 p.m.
