I started playing guitar at age 13 after seeing Guns N' Roses on television. I took lessons from Terry Williams, Jack Pearson and Mike Looney while I was in high school. I have been self taught since then.
I like many different styles of music. If you get a chance please read page 9 and page 63 of Guitar Player, June 2007 issue. I am featured in this magazine.
Michael Molinda, editor of Guitar Player Magazine, picked my tune because it's different. It's hard for some to listen to. Our ears sometimes seek out the familar. I try to make my music inovative. I know there are music lovers out there hungry for something different. I have more guitar instrumentals.
I feel lucky to be living in the Shoals area. It has such a rich musical heritage. It would be great to be a part of a new musical movement to come out of this area again.
