Alabama's 4-H programs are getting a boost beginning this year that will allow individual counties to reach more students with programs and activities.
Through an investment by the Alabama 4-H Club Foundation, programming will improve and expand with its Centennial Youth Initiative. Through the initiative, Alabama 4-H programs will receive $400,000 yearly, with which county extension agencies will hire agents to work with and expand 4-H programs.
