MUSCLE SHOALS — The children's minister at Highland Park Baptist Church is in custody in the Colbert County Jail on bail of $1,030,000 after he was charged Tuesday with 36 counts of sexual abuse charges involving youths, authorities said.

Muscle Shoals Police Chief Robert Evans confirmed Jeffrey Dale Eddie, 42, 706 Courtland Ave., Muscle Shoals, is charged with 31 counts of second-degree sodomy, three counts of sexual abuse of a child under 12 and two counts of possession of obscene material containing visual reproductions of persons under 17.

    Underwood says it's only 3 or 4. That is one too many. Wonder what he would say if it was his son? I don't care if it was one, the man need to be punished and not be allowed to be around any children. I can only imagine how hard it was for those boys to come forward, yes they are hero's. Now they have got to put this behind them and understand that it was not them that it was that awful man.
