-- Karen Gruber, accompanied by Joseph Stallworth, will perform 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Swamper’s inside Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa, Florence.

-- Saxophonist Yasmin Flores, of the University of North Alabama Department of Music and Theater, will stage a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Guillott University Center Performance Hall. Flores will be accompanied by Jason Briley, and will be joined on stage by student Bryant Sharpley on the clarinet.
