Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit will be performing at this year’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn.

Now in its 12th year, the festival draws about 80,000 people and is considered one of the country’s premier summer music events.

Isbell, a Greenhill native who relocated to Nashville last year, won an Americana Music Award in 2012 for Song of the Year for the track “Alabama Pines.”

Jimbo Hart, the 400 Unit’s bassist, resides in Sheffield and drummer Chad Gamble lives in Tuscumbia. The band’s keyboard player, Derry DeBorja, also lives in Nashville.

Bonnaroo is June 13-16.

The legendary Paul McCartney is headlining the festival, along with Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and British folk rock act Mumford and Sons.
