Cypress Cove gets excellence award
Cypress Cove Care and Rehabilitation Center has received the 2011 Excellence in Action award for customer satisfaction from a national company that serves senior-care providers.
Cypress Cove is among 361 selected from a field of more than 5,000 centers across the United States, according to a release from the center.
The award is from InnerView, which is a division of National Research Corp. National Research and is a third-party applied-research company in senior care.
It is based on overall customer satisfaction scores, taking into account results from residents and their families, the release states.
Recipients must have a response rate of at least 30 percent on the question, “What is your recommendation of this facility to others?”
The facility must be among the top 10 in percentage of respondents who rate the facility “excellent.”
Cypress Cove, which opened in 1974, provides short-term physical rehabilitation therapy and skilled nursing services for up to 89 patients and residents, the release states.
Lambert company gets certification
Florence’s Lambert Record Center recently received a differentiating certification that less than 2 percent of the businesses in their field can claim — the National Association of Information Destruction AAA Certification.
Lambert has provided document management services to the Tennessee Valley for more than 20 years.
The non-profit association was formed in 1993 to educate business and government on the need for the destruction of discarded information. The group’s membership is comprised of hundreds of companies worldwide and has grown to become the recognized authority on secure information destruction.
Lambert Record Center was praised for being committed to the highest standards in information destruction.
The association’s AAA Certified Contractor award means Lambert Record Center has gone beyond claims and promises by submitting to a close examination of every aspect of their security, according to a news release.
It adds Lambert Record Center attained the certification by submitting for critical review of their policies and document destruction procedure manuals, employment records, promotional materials, logs and paperwork to verify that they meet the certification requirements. Facility security, monitoring systems, on-site destruction equipment, off-site destruction equipment and access control systems must also stand up to the auditor’s inspection.
Lambert Record Center will be audited annually, based on the release.
