Financial aid help for high school seniors available Thursday
By Jennifer Edwards
TheTimes Daily

PHIL CAMPBELL — Representatives from the Blueprints College Access Initiative will be at the Phil Campbell campus of Northwest-Shoals Community College to assist high school students with federal financial aid applications.

The workshop is 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday in the library at the Northwest-Shoals, Phil Campbell campus.

Blueprints College Access Initiative is part of Alabama Possible, a statewide non-profit group that addresses poverty issues in Alabama.

Leaders will help students and parents fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, more commonly called FAFSA.

Students and parents should bring Social Security numbers and 2012 income tax returns. If the 2012 tax return is not available, the 2011 tax return documents will suffice.
