Flood advisories continue in Tennessee; minor flooding possible in north Alabama
By Dennis Sherer Staff Writer

Flood advisories continue for Wayne and Hardin counties in Tennessee where minor flooding is occurring along the Tennessee River.

The water level of Pickwick Lake in the Shoals is high, but it is not expected to reach flood stage through Wednesday.

Rain that is expected today through Wednesday in north Alabama and south Tennessee could cause Tennessee River levels to rise later this week, weather officials said.

Minor flooding of roadways, creeks and low-lying areas will be possible in north Alabama today through Wednesday.
