Florence Camerata presents 'Choral Masterworks'

Florence Camerata will present it's "Choral Masterworks" concert Thursday.

FLORENCE — “Choral Masterworks” is the theme for Florence Camerata’s performance Thursday night.

“Masterworks” will include two timeless masterpieces, the Bach “Magnificat” and the Lauriden “Lux Aeterna.”

Joining Florence Camerata, a community chorus, will be the UNA Collegiate Singers and the Florence Camerata Masterworks Orchestra.

Director is Ian Leoppky.

The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. in Norton Auditorium on the University of North Alabama campus.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students.

Advance tickets are available at the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts, 217 E. Tuscaloosa St., Florence.

Tickets also will be available at the door.
