Florence woman dies following LawCo wreck

A Florence woman is dead following a three-vehicle wreck Friday afternoon in Lawrence County.

State troopers said Misty Nichole Thrasher, 32, of Florence died after being injured in the wreck at 2:30 p.m. on Alabama 157 five miles north of Moulton near Hatton. She was wearing a seatbelt.

Passenger Nicholas Thrasher, 17, of Florence was flown to Huntsville Hospital with injuries. Driver Jesse Arlice Kemp, 22, of Cullman was also injured. Both were wearing seatbelts.

The cause of the wreck is not yet known.
