Funeral arrangements have been announced for Lisa Ann Eidson Greer.
Greer, according to Gardendale police, died at about 1 a.m. Friday from a gunshot wound inflicted by her husband, former Decatur pastor Terry Greer.
Scottsboro Funeral Home announced visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral Home, 1502 County Park Road, Scottsboro.
The funeral will be at Scottsboro First United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, and the body will be at the church beginning two hours before the service.
Greer, 52, was a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and a former Chestnut Grove Elementary teacher.
Terry Greer, 54, former pastor at First United Methodist Church in Decatur, has been charged with Lisa Greer’s murder and the attempted murder of their 18-year-old daughter, Suzanna, at their Gardendale home Thursday afternoon, Gardendale police said.
Terry Greer allegedly stabbed himself in the chest and neck after Suzanna wrestled the pistol from him and ran to a neighbor’s house.
Gardendale Police Chief Mike Walker said Saturday that Terry and Suzanna Greer remain in stable condition at University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital.
Terry Greer, who is under police guard at the hospital, will later be transferred to Jefferson County Jail.
