Police investigate rash of burglaries

FLORENCE — Six cars parked in the 1000 block of East Limestone Street were burglarized Friday.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects.

Reports indicate a 1991 red Buick Skylark, 1994 brown Cadillac Fleetwood, 1996 green Ford Explorer, a 1992 brown Ford van, a 1996 silver Chevrolet Camaro and a 1991 tan Mercury Sable were broken into. Police said the thieves took car batteries from each of the vehicles and a part to the exhaust system from one.

The car burglaries are believed to have taken place in the early morning hours.

Thefts

A 1993 Chevrolet Camaro was taken from a residence on Allison Drive, Killen.

Prescription medication was taken from a residence in the 300 block of Lauderdale 381, Killen.

A 16-foot flatbed trailer was taken from a residence in the 300 block of Saddlebrook Drive, Killen.

A 2004 Kia was taken from a residence in the 200 block of Rocky Ford Lane, Florence.

A 2001 Landrover was taken from a residence on Montclair Drive, Killen.

Two heaters were taken from a residence in the 600 block of Lauderdale 154,
Florence.

A deer camera was taken from a residence on Lauderdale 47, Killen.

Burglaries

Two televisions, prescription pills, a .410-caliber shotgun and a jar of change were taken from a residence on Alabama 207, Anderson.

A pellet gun, hunting bow, CD player, arrows, arrow tips and a drill were taken from a residence in the 7000 block of Alabama 157, Florence.

A rifle with scope was taken from a residence on Lauderdale 118, Florence.

A residence in the 6200 block of Lauderdale 36, Killen, was broken into but nothing was reported taken.

A television was taken from a residence in the 5000 block of Lauderdale 25, Killen.

A laptop, computer game system, money, computer games and a television were taken from a residence in the 4900 block of Huntsville Road.

A residence in the 2000 block of Lauderdale 90, Waterloo, was broken into but nothing was report taken.

Breaking and entering

A radio was taken from a car parked in the 2900 block of Florence Boulevard,
Florence.

Criminal mischief

A business was damaged in the 100 block of South Seminary Street was
damaged.
