Lawrence Medical Center joins in conducting health survey
By Jennifer Edwards

MOULTON — Lawrence Medical Center and other Huntsville Hospital affiliated hospitals are conducting a community health assessment throughout north Alabama.

The months-long process will include an online public survey, physician feedback and health data from county, state and national health agencies.

Bill Anderson, interim CEO of Lawrence Medical Center, said the results of the assessment will help communities prepare for the future and also establish current priorities in health care.

The results of the assessment will be released in the first quarter of 2013.

County specific reports will be produced for Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Marion and other counties in north Alabama.

The anonymous survey is available online at lawrencemedicalcenter.com.
