Muscle Shoals Library now open Mondays

MUSCLE SHOALS — The Muscle Shoals Library is now open 1-5 p.m. on Mondays and closed on Sundays.

Previously the library had been closed on Mondays and open Sundays.

The library is also open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays

The Friends of the Library in Muscle Shoals are also having a membership drive. The group is hosting a coffee and dessert tasting 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 18 at the library. Several local restaurants and bakeries, as well as home cooks, are providing sweets for the event.

Local artists and authors will also be on hand displaying their works.
