Muscle Shoals superintendent a finalist for two jobs in Mississippi
|
MUSCLE SHOALS - City schools superintendent Jeff Wooten is among the finalists for a similar position in two Mississippi school districts - Tupelo and Oxford.
Wooten will has a second interview scheduled today with the Tupelo school board. He is among a list of three finalists for the superintendent’s job there. The finalists list was narrowed last week from seven, school officials said.
On Friday, he will meet school board members in Oxford for the first time. He is one of five candidates being interviewed there.
Wooten, 51, has been superintendent of Muscle Shoals schools for the past decade.
