One step from oblivion?

Everyone and his brother talks accountability regarding the actions of our government. That’s a laugh. If we had held our leaders accountable or they had been accountable, we would be the greatest nation on earth. Instead, look at us. We are one step from a third-class status, one step from being downgraded again by the S&P, one step from a hike in our interest rates on our debt, maybe one step from oblivion.

We have been led down the primrose path to drastic cuts and 30 years of trying to crawl out of the financial abyss. What worries us is we don’t see anyone up to the challenge.

Take a look at members of Congress. See anyone who wants to work that hard?
