FLORENCE — The Northwest Alabama Community Health Clinic is hoping to Paint the Mall Pink on Saturday.
Shoppers are encouraged to wear pink, and the local not-for-profit health organization will have a booth set up at the mall to distribute women’s health information and also schedule appointments for Well Woman exams for qualifying women.
The Well Woman Project provides medical exams and promotes healthy lifestyle choices. Through its partnership with the Alabama Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, the clinic also offers free clinical exams and referrals for free mammograms to qualifying women.
