Police searching for dead man's next of kin
By Tom Smith, Staff Writer

SHEFFIELD -- Police are working with the Colbert County Coroner’s Office to find any family member of Charles Ronnie Nunley.

Nunley, 68, was found dead of natural causes at his residence at 502 East 18th St., Sheffield, early today. However, police cannot locate any family members.

“We have gone through the house and can’t find anything that will help us to find anyone he is related to,” Sheffield police detective Bobby McCalpin said. “He leases his car and he has a boat that is docked at the Florence Harbor. Honestly, that is all we can find out about him.”

McCalpin said anyone knowing Nunley is asked to call Sheffield police at 256-383-1771.
