Road across Wilson Dam closed

The road across Wilson Dam is closed because misting water is freezing on the pavement.

FLORENCE — Wilson Dam is closed to vehicular traffic.

TVA officials are in the process of doing a spillway operation at the dam, and the water mist from that operation is freezing on the road.

The road will be closed as long as the water continues to freeze.
