Shoals laboratory reaccredited

MUSCLE SHOALS — The laboratory at Shoals Hospital has been reaccredited by the College of American Pathologists after an on-site inspection.

The lab at Shoals Hospital is one of more than 7,000 labs in the United States to be accredited by the College of American Pathologists.

During the accreditation process, examiners review laboratory quality control procedures and records for the two years before the inspection.
