UNA baseball team still receiving national attention in polls

FLORENCE - With an 8-2 overall record, the University of North Alabama baseball team continues to rank prominently in the NCAA Division II regional and national polls.

This week the Lions are ranked eighth nationally by College Baseball Lineup, 20th by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and 25th by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

UNA is also ranked fourth in the NCBWA South Region poll behind Tampa, West Florida and Delta State.

North Alabama hosts Quincy this weekend in a three-game series at Mike Lane Field with a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m. and a single game Sunday at 1:00.
