Weather spotter class tonight

MUSCLE SHOALS — The public is invited to attend a severe weather spotters class tonight at the Bevill Center at Northwest-Shoals Community College.

The class is from 6-8 p.m. and is free to the public.

The class will be conducted by officials with the National Weather Service in Huntsville.

“Everybody that attends will come away with a better understanding of severe weather and when it’s time to take cover before the storm, not in the middle or the beginning of the storm,” said Colbert County Emergency Management Agency Director Mike Melton.
