Payton Pruitt, lead vocalist and guitarist in the local rock n’ roll band Carver Commodore, remembers feeling discouraged in March of 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic reached the Shoals area. He said the band had big plans for the year that were quickly brought to a halt.
