MUSCLE SHOALS — Five members of the Muscle Shoals High football team officially signed to play college football this morning.

The five were: Dylan Montgomery and Nic Deluna, UNA; Corey Beckwith and Hollis Abernathy, Lincoln University; and Rhett Morrison, Murray State.

Deluna, 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds, is an offensive lineman who was a two-year starter and graded at 90 percent.

Montgomery, 5-10 and 170, is a cornerback who had 104 total tackles with two interceptions and three forced fumbles.

Morrison, 6-3 and 175, is a punter and kicker. He averaged  42.1 yards per punt and had 20 touchbacks on kickoffs this season.

Abernathy, 5-11 and 285, is a lineman who played every defensive snap this season. He also made 73 tackles with four sacks.

Beckwith, 6-0 and 220, is a linebacker who helped Muscle Shoals' defense allow only 18.8 points per game.
